About me

I’m Will and Ciné Reportage is my passion project.
I made my first Super 8 film in 2004, at art school in London; I wanted to record the process of painting. Before long, my work was more about the film than the painting and I haven’t stopped making films since.
In 2010 I made a few wedding films on Super 8 film as presents for friends. I quickly realised that making wedding films is a lot more fun than most commercial filmmaking, so I started Ciné Reportage.
It was my full-time job for nearly 10 years, but with a growing family I decided to pursue a totally unrelated, less creative, but more dependable career whilst continuing to make wedding films as a creative outlet.
I don’t put any less work into the films that I make, I just do barely any advertising, no wedding blogging, and no wedding fairs (yippee!). The upshot is, I’m highly likely to be available on your wedding date.
I live on the edge of the Peak District with my wife and two small children, but am almost as likely to be found visiting friends and family in East Anglia, Kent or Scotland.
